Brand book — Frisor barbershop

Project description

All my work was to create a brand book structure and package ready-made models of the brand. He worked with company representatives on a full brief. It described in detail the scope of the project, the description of the target audience of the barbershop network, its market values. The company involved three employees in the project, one of whom was constantly in touch and made some design changes. In the first section, I described recommendations for the use of the logo, as the designer who designed it did not provide this information.

The Frisor brand book describes the advertising concept of the barbershop network. The company has a unique style of interior design, which is followed in all marketing products: on the site, in printed materials, in the mobile application and more. To achieve the authenticity and uniqueness of the Frisor brand, all requirements for visual design have been unified. It is important to follow them at all stages of branding. Frisor barbershops use a single corporate identity, which is the brand's business card. All interior design requirements are listed in this brand book.

About the brand

«Frisor» is the largest network of famous barbershops in Ukraine. The rapid growth and popularity of the brand became possible due to the creative approach to design, well-thought-out marketing strategy and professionalism of the team.
Design

The design of the brand book pages is minimalist and is based on four basic design principles: alignment, repetition, contrast and grouping. The project is decorated in the colors of the brand and using branded fonts, which are described in the second and third sections, respectively. Below you can see the markup when designing two-page layouts.
Company logo

All Frisor barbershops are decorated in a single style using the company logo. The sign has exact proportions which are observed in all advertising materials and in registration of interiors. The Frisor logo is used in the interior and exterior of barbershops. There are different variations of its application. Including in the form of a corporate flag, on signs, banners, and also in the form of stickers on doors or glass of rooms.

To prevent the logo from losing its recognizability, you should avoid using it: color change, warping, blurring, narrowing, rotation, adding volume, stroke and shadow. The Frisor brand logo cannot be narrowed, expanded, disproportionately changed, or a different color is used to fill it that differs from the installed template. The Frisor logo can also be used in a contrasting design. For example, in white on a dark background. Or with a white filling. It is in this variation that it is best seen on complex surfaces or darkened backgrounds.
Brand colors

Frisor's corporate identity covers several basic colors that are used in interior design, exteriors, and promotional materials. The main colors of the Frisor corporate style are dark turquoise and beige. Yellow fill is also used in the design of the site and web design of the mobile application.
Branded fonts

A distinctive feature of Frisor's advertising policy is the use of unique fonts that emphasize the values of the brand. Most of Frisor's promotional products are designed using three fonts. Only these fonts can be used in the interiors, exteriors and printed advertising materials of the brand.
Corporate materials

The international network of barbershops Frisor regularly produces a large amount of various corporate materials. This is necessary to maintain brand awareness, increase customer loyalty and more. Corporate advertising materials include various printed products (business cards, notebooks, pens with the Frisor logo), promotional materials, certificates and much more.
Interior of a network of barbershops

Frisor adheres to the classic style of the interior. This is reflected in all the details of the design of the barbershops of the network. The main materials in the interior design of Frisor are natural wood, leather and metal. Particular attention in the interior design Frisor is paid to lighting. Some types of lamps are patented by the founder and owner of the network Dmitry Verkhovetsky. Such lighting is especially effective during haircuts.

The interiors of Frisor barbershops use different themed decor. These can be exhibition samples of weapons, valuable books, various attributes of the men's club: magazines, a globe, board games, a mini-bar.
Exterior of a network of barbershops

Frisor barbershops always stand out from other establishments. The exterior of the salons is decorated exclusively in the brand's corporate colors. At the same time much attention is paid to the front entrance, accessibility, lighting and glazing of the room. A distinctive feature of the exterior of Frisor is the presence of glazing, as well as a spacious entrance group, company logo and various amenities for visiting the salon in any weather. The exterior must use branded decor, which is easily recognizable among potential guests. These are various flags, banners, signs with lighting, as well as Barber's pole.

For convenience, each facade of Frisor barbershops is complemented by a three-dimensional sign with lighting. The sign has a logo that can be seen from afar. This simplifies the navigation of guests and passing people.
Corporate style of clothing

The obligatory attribute of any Frisor barbershop is corporate clothes of administrators and masters. It is made in a single style. And it is very high quality and convenient for everyday work. Corporate style of clothing includes branded badges with the brand logo. The basis of Frisor's corporate style of clothing is a classic: white shirts, dark vests and pants. It is possible to use accessories.
Outdoor advertising

Frisor outdoor advertising not only simplifies navigation for guests, but also allows people passing by to learn more about the Frisor network. The basis of Frisor outdoor advertising are thematic posters and stickers. They are made in the brand's color scheme. It is possible to use friendly fictional characters from games and movies.
Souvenir products

Souvenir products are one of the tools to increase guest loyalty. It is regularly updated and immediately transferred to the salons of the barbershop network. Stickers with Frisor logos are the most popular among souvenirs. They are small in size, but at the same time very recognizable. They can be glued to any surface, including laptops, smartphones and more.

No less important is the printed products with the Frisor logo. It is often presented at various exhibitions, as well as given to partners, regular customers, employees. These include notebooks, craft bags and more.
Digital environment

The Frisor team pays special attention to modern technologies. Therefore, for the convenience of employees, partners and guests, various digital projects have been developed, including a website and a mobile application. Creatives are an important part of any brand advertising campaign. These include themed parties and events that are promoted through the creation of unique posters and other promotional products.

The Frisor mobile application was created specifically for convenient recording of users for haircuts, as well as for navigation and finding answers to questions. It's fast, convenient and functional. The Frisor team is also developing the brand's Facebook page and YouTube platform. Interesting news, creative announcements, useful articles and other exciting materials are published on these sites.
